Abito il passato, ci dialogo, per ricostruire epoche mai vissute.
Questo progetto è una conversazione con una realtà allontanata dal tempo e con uno spazio che rimane, sotto nuove forme. Le rovine del castello medievale di Nocera Inferiore sembrano raccontare che tutto è in trasformazione ma le tracce restano come un richiamo alla vita. Luoghi svuotati della presenza umana appaiono rifugi sacri, intoccabili, che vivono cambiamenti senza intromissioni, immuni al mondano. C’è un mistero in ogni traccia, in ogni rovina incrostata di tempo che si offre come forma di resistenza - e di esistenza - . La distruzione preannuncia nuova nascita e il tempo non cancella, reinventa. Ricostruire il mondo a partire dai resti, anima la mia memoria intima.

(Il castello medievale di Nocera Inferiore è una struttura del X secolo che sorge sulla sommità della collina di Sant’Andrea ed è circondato da un complesso naturalistico nonché dalle rovine di varie cinte murarie. Oggi, infatti, restano poche tracce all’interno del più grande Palazzo Fienga, di epoca ottocentesca. È forse il monumento più rappresentativo della città di Nocera Inferiore).

This project is a conversation with a reality removed from time and with a space that remains, in new forms. The ruins of the medieval castle of Nocera Inferiore seem to tell us that everything is in transformation but the traces remain as a call to life. Places emptied of human presence appear as sacred, untouchable refuges that experience change without intrusion, immune to the mundane. There is a mystery in every trace, in every ruin encrusted with time that offers itself as a form of resistance - and existence - . Destruction heralds new birth and time does not erase, it reinvents.

(The medieval castle of Nocera Inferiore is a 10th-century structure that stands on the top of the Sant'Andrea hill and is surrounded by a natural complex as well as the ruins of several city walls. Today, only a few traces remain, incorporated within the larger 19th-century Palazzo Fienga. It is perhaps the most representative monument of the city of Nocera Inferiore).
